Manny Pacquiao beat David Diaz - Became the first Asian boxer to win world titles in four weight classes

Once again Manny Pacquiao make the Filipinos proud with his 4th title the WBC lightweight champion in Mandalay Bay Events Center.

I was even prouder when I saw some notable celebrities and and sports man like the Boston Celtics players, Mike Tyson and other who watched the fight. First I was kinda hesitant to say that Manny Pacquiao can win the fight, because David Diaz is the Champion on this division and Manny Pacquiao is just a challenger. But when the fight started on the first round, I firmly said that Manny can win the fight and I was right. He cuts David Diaz's face with his iron punches and made Diaz's face a bloody mess and even knock David Diaz out on the 9th round when he was hit by the power left hook punch of Manny Pacquiao.

As expected, the Filipino people stopped whatever they are doing during the fight to watch the fight. The streets once again was empty and there's no traffic jam. Well, that always happened everytime Manny Pacquiao has a fight.

I heard that he will donate some of his fotune on this game to the victims of the Typhoon Fengshen and MV Princess of the Stars Tragedy. I also heard that the girl who sang the Philippine national anthem is from General Santos City, (sorry I didn't get her name) whom Jinky Pacquiao heard her sometimes singing and brought her to Manny's office and let her sing. Manny liked her voice and decided to let her sing on his fight with David Diaz. Wow... how lucky she is to sing the national anthem on Manny's fight, it is such an honor.

With this victory, Pacquiao become the first Asian boxer to win world titles in four weight classes. The list of Mexican champions that Manny took the titles are Erik Morales, Marco Antonio Barrera and Juan Manuel Marquez and at present is David Diaz. Is there no one else?

Pacquiao dedicated the fight to the Philippines after a typhoon hit his nation last Saturday, possibly killing thousands. Diaz, the youngest son of Mexican immigrants, has been hesitant to invoke national pride, knowing Pacquiao's long history of beating Mexico's best.

"I want to give this fight to Mexico," Diaz said. "I know Manny doesn't like it, but he's been beating up on a lot of my countrymen."

Go Manny! Fight Manny! Win Manny!
