This is the result of my quiz, what's yours? try it now... There is a lot of pressure in high school. In most cases, it's the pressure to go along with the crowd to do what they do or even look how they look. Sometimes it's hard to stand up for yourself and go against the grain. But it's exactly at this moment in time that you can define yourself and let others know who you are and where you stand. I am not alreaady a High School stude, but still this stuff applies to my age range this time... You can take the quiz here Feeling pressured?

Da Vinci Code is a Fictional Novel-slash-Movie

Image
The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown, a novel involves a conspiracy by the Catholic Church to cover up the "true" story of Jesus. A worldwide bestseller fiction novel with more than 60 million copies produced and translated into 44 languages. It is now showing for almost all theaters around the world and the impact of the movie/novel was vey controversial that people buy it and Dan Brown's work was a hit. Some religious groups ask for the deferral of the movie to show on theaters here in the Philippines for it can stir tha faith of the people, but I am not in favor of the actions they want to happen because first and foremost, the story is purely fiction and that it is only the creative idea of Dan Brown that made it so controversial. I don't think there's a need to ban the showing of the film and especially it was rated as R-18 here in the Philippines. What do the rating boards and some religious sectors think of us the Filipinos? Aren't they so mean discriminating

No Mobile Phone Since Yesterday

Image
I spent my day yesterday online for almost 24 hours. Just setting in-front of the computer log-in to IRC and my YM account, at the same time optimizing my blog and of course working for the project given by my Ever hardworking Project Manager Jen . At least I submitted to her the first part of my task… not to mention that it has been given to me few weeks ago and I just finish only the first part of it yesterday. (grin) Its 6 in the morning and I need to go home to have ample sleep and be back right after, to go ahead with my duties and responsibilities here at the office. But before that, I have to write this to have an entry on my blogs. Yesterday, was my first day without cell phone. No communication through text message with my colleagues and friends, first I thought I can’t make it through the day without a gadge, but I spend the whole day without it… Whew!!! Thanks to the power of Internet, I still somehow get connected around the world. I am planning to buy a new phone by the en

Mom, mama, mommy, mamita, inang, inay, nay, mamang, whatever you call her, she is the most incredible, most loving person in the world. Simply the best, nothing in the world can replace my Mother. All this time, Mom you are the wind beneath my wings, anything that I need is where I can find in you, the care that no one can replace, and the love that only you can give. Without you Mom, I am not here, without you I cannot experience this challenging, beautiful, bright and wonderful life with you. To my Mom It's her Birthday last May 10 Happy Birthday Mom and happy Mother's day, and to all the mother’s out there, Happy Mother’s Day! and this song is for you. "Wind Beneath My Wings" Ohhhh, oh, oh, oh, ohhh. It must have been cold there in my shadow, to never have sunlight on your face. You were content to let me shine, that's your way. You always walked a step behind. So I was the one with all the glory, while you were the one with all the strength. A beau

Poseidon

Image
Chris Daughtry’s Elimination last Wednesday was a bit surprising and I ended up blogging on my Movie and Music Review Blog… Anyway, so much for the American Idol, Yesterday I watched the movie Poseidon together with my two officemates, after our work we headed directly to the SM Cinema and bought tickets. The action of the movie started when a tidal wave strike the luxury cruise ship ” Poseidon ” just when they counted down and celebrated the New Year at the cruise along the Atlantic Ocean. The wave turned the cruise upside-down in the ocean and since the ship was designed to stay afloat upside-down in the water, most people alive trapped inside stays and waited for the rescue to come as what the captain instructed, but Dylan Johns (Josh Lucas) ignored him and sets out to come out the almost sunk upside-down ship to save himself. Soon, Dylan is followed by others, the desperate father (Kurt Russell) in search for his daughter Jennifer (Emmy Rossum) together with her boy friend Christ

Baz Luhrmann - Everybody's Free (To Wear Sunscreen)

Ladies and gentlemen of the class of '97 Wear sunscreen. If I could offer you only one tip for the future, sunscreen would be it The long-term benefits of sunscreen have been proved by scientists, whereas the rest of my advice has no basis more reliable than my own meandering experience. I will dispense this advice now. Enjoy the power and beauty of your youth. Oh, never mind. You will not understand the power and beauty of your youth until they've faded. But trust me, in 20 years, you'll look back at photos of yourself and recall in a way you can't grasp now how much possibility lay before you and how fabulous you really looked. You are not as fat as you imagine. Don't worry about the future. Or worry, but know that worrying is as effective as trying to solve an algebra equation by chewing bubble gum. The real troubles in your life are apt to be things that never crossed your worried mind, the kind that blindside you at 4 pm on some idle Tuesday. Do one thing every
