Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley Face Off Interview

April 15, 2014 0
People love Manny Pacquiao because he is a humble fighter. It goes to show on this video interview between Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley that in boxing, you don't need to look fearsome, aggressive and mean in order to become a champion fighter. Manny Pacquiao shows a humbling image and a tame tiger looks and used kind words here. He doesn't have to talk some shit in order to own his opponent, he don't need to show the eye of the tiger, because he is confident from the inside that he can conquer Bradley anytime in the ring.

Live Blogging: The Dream Match between Manny Pacquiao and Oscar Dela Hoya

December 07, 2008 3
The Dream Match between Manny Pacquiao and Oscar Dela Hoya just started with Philippine national anthen sang by Karel and Mexico's national anthem and followed by US national anthem's Star Spangled banner.

Then Manny came out with a big smile in his face. You can really see in his aura the confidence for this fight. I hope he will be confident as every round rolled out and win the fight. Referee is Tony Weeks and let's get ready to rumble!!!

----------

Round 4 just ended and the viewers are not yet satisfied of the actions they watched... Some are dismayed that this is not really a Dream Match if the fights are always like this.

----------

Round 5 ended and still no exciting fights we witnessed...

----------

Round 6 Oscar never returned any blows after Manny throws lots of punches... viewers and audiences were laughing about the actions because that is not the way the two fighters fight.

----------

Round 7 Still the same... Oscar received more punches and he never throws back... He got badly hit on his face and probably he cannot continue the fight because of that...

After the round 8 ended Dela Hoya's corner decided that Oscar cannot continue the fight and the referee declared it is over and Manny Pacquiao won the fight with TKO Victory against Oscar Dela Hoya.

And that ends the fight... Not really a Dream match since it is a not really a match. OR... Maybe Oscar Dela Hoya is not really in a good condition for this fight since he loses more weights just to match with Manny.

Manny Pacquiao beat David Diaz - Became the first Asian boxer to win world titles in four weight classes

June 29, 2008 0
Once again Manny Pacquiao make the Filipinos proud with his 4th title the WBC lightweight champion in Mandalay Bay Events Center.

I was even prouder when I saw some notable celebrities and and sports man like the Boston Celtics players, Mike Tyson and other who watched the fight. First I was kinda hesitant to say that Manny Pacquiao can win the fight, because David Diaz is the Champion on this division and Manny Pacquiao is just a challenger. But when the fight started on the first round, I firmly said that Manny can win the fight and I was right. He cuts David Diaz's face with his iron punches and made Diaz's face a bloody mess and even knock David Diaz out on the 9th round when he was hit by the power left hook punch of Manny Pacquiao.

As expected, the Filipino people stopped whatever they are doing during the fight to watch the fight. The streets once again was empty and there's no traffic jam. Well, that always happened everytime Manny Pacquiao has a fight.

I heard that he will donate some of his fotune on this game to the victims of the Typhoon Fengshen and MV Princess of the Stars Tragedy. I also heard that the girl who sang the Philippine national anthem is from General Santos City, (sorry I didn't get her name) whom Jinky Pacquiao heard her sometimes singing and brought her to Manny's office and let her sing. Manny liked her voice and decided to let her sing on his fight with David Diaz. Wow... how lucky she is to sing the national anthem on Manny's fight, it is such an honor.

With this victory, Pacquiao become the first Asian boxer to win world titles in four weight classes. The list of Mexican champions that Manny took the titles are Erik Morales, Marco Antonio Barrera and Juan Manuel Marquez and at present is David Diaz. Is there no one else?

Pacquiao dedicated the fight to the Philippines after a typhoon hit his nation last Saturday, possibly killing thousands. Diaz, the youngest son of Mexican immigrants, has been hesitant to invoke national pride, knowing Pacquiao's long history of beating Mexico's best.

"I want to give this fight to Mexico," Diaz said. "I know Manny doesn't like it, but he's been beating up on a lot of my countrymen."

Go Manny! Fight Manny! Win Manny!

Manny Pacquiao will Lost the Battle Against Juan Manuel Marquez II

March 16, 2008 0
I felt a little bit unsure about Manny Pacquiao on his fight with Juan Manuel Marquez II... I am afraid Manny's luck is not good this time... Anyway it was just my feelings... but still we should believe in him for our country... but if I have to bet on this fight I wouldn't bet to Manny or I won't bet any. I just want to play safe for this time.

We will see later few hours from now the ultimate battle between Manny Pacquiao vs. Juan Manuel Marquez II will start and expect that traffic around the Phillipnes will be not as bad as you can see everyday.

I am afraid Manny will end up like this...

Philippines bring home the world cup on the 2007 Boxing World Cup

August 12, 2007 0
Philippines won the world cup trophy on the 2007 Boxing World Cup Philippines versus Mexico at Arco Arena, Sacramento, CA.

Rey "Boom Boom" Bautista vs. Daniel Ponce de Leon
Gerry Peñalosa vs. Jhonny Gonzales
Bert Batawang vs. Francisco Rosas
Z Gorres vs Gerson Guerrero
Michael Domingo vs. Miguel Roman
AJ Banal vs. Eric Ortiz

AJ Banal knocked Eric Ortiz down on the 3rd round, Gorres knocked Gerson Gurrero down on the 8th round and Gerry Peñalosa Knocked Jhonny Gonzalez out on the 7th Round with his powerful left hand punch on Gonzales' right side. Bert Batawag and Michael Domingo won by way of unanimous decisions. Unfortunately, Rey "Boom Boom" Bautista is the only one failed to get the victory when he was knocked out by Daniel Ponce de Leon on the very 1st round. He really got his knees weak after being hit by Daniel's power punch. It was Mexico’s only victory in a six-fight World Cup of Boxing against the Philippines. But no worry, because Rey Bautista is just merely 21-year-old boxer and he has a lot of opportunities coming to catch up the pedestal in boxing.

Anyway, it is still 5-1 and Philippines got it Champion. Maybe 6-0 is too much to ask for and 5-1 will still made the Philippines get the 2007 Boxing World Cup trophy.
