Since I can't sleep and it is around 1:36 in the morning and I am still in front of my computer, browsing the net, reading some content, watching youtube videos and reading emails. I was so bored but still can't sleep so I decided to clean-up my inbox and found this joke story sent by a good friend of mine.

A pirate walks into a bar and the bartender said, 'Hey, I haven't seen you in a while. What happened? You look terrible.' 'What do you mean?' said the pirate, 'I feel fine.'

Bartender, 'What about the wooden leg? You didn't have that before.'
Pirate, 'Well, we were in a battle and I got hit with a cannon ball, but I'm
fine now.'

Bartender, 'Well, OK, but what about that hook? What happened to your
hand?'
Pirate, 'We were in another battle. I boarded a ship and got into a sword
fight. My hand was cut off. I got fitted with a hook. I'm fine, really.'

Bartender, 'What about that eye patch?'
Pirate, 'Oh, one day we were at sea and a flock of birds flew over. I
looked up and one of them shit in my eye.'

Bartender, 'You're kidding, you lost an eye just from bird shit??'
Pirate, 'It was my first day with the hook.'

Philippines is on Economic Crisis???

It was a rainy April Saturday afternoon, too early for a rainy season in the Philippine weather. I think this is what they call the effects of global warming. Anyway, since it is raining the whole afternoon today, I was detained inside the house and stuck in front of my computer and TV. I never watched news on TV for quite sometimes now but this afternoon I happened to watch the afternoon local news. I was so surprised that the news from one local channel to another has been always talking about the food shortage and the so-called economy crisis in the Philippines. Surprised in the sense that every night when I went out to buy foods or visit a friend, I can see how young people can live like spoiled rich brats in bars, drinking pints or beers, smoking like one on those factories along the coastal places, eating at the fancy restaurants, drinking coffee at the expensive coffee shops and socializing with one another in some expensive places. Wow! I cannot even gulp one can of beer because of the two reasons; I don't enjoy beers and other hard beverages, and second I think being a social drinker / person is an expensive lifestyle.

I hope news anchors and reporters could see the pictures of the Philippines at night and show it to the people if we really are on a crisis with those gimmick places infested with social and social climbers young people, because if this is what I normally see every night then I don't think Philippines is on crisis.

Just a thought on this rainy April Saturday afternoon.

Your Girlfriend's / wife's beauty stuff can be useful for you too

She's going to keep cluttering the bathroom with expensive, perfumed junk, so you might as well use some of it for your own evil purposes. "Men can use any product that women can," say's Wilma F. Bergfeld, MD dermatologist at the Cleveland Clinic. You know how to use her shampoo, but some of her other "beauty aids" have surprisingly handy uses. Here's a guide.

Baby Powder
A few sprinkles will stop sweat and chafing around your groin or on your feet, and freshen unwashed sheets before an unexpected sleep-over. Also, combing some powder into your hair will degrease it when you can't shower, says Billy B., a makeup artist in New York.

Soap-free cleansers
Products like Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser by Galderma remove surface oils and dirt without water; they're perfect for camping trips.

Moisturizing Lotion
Use it just the way she does. It can help rehydrate dry skin.

Hair Conditioner
You can use it as a shaving cream.

Toner
If she uses a spray to remove facial oils, you've got a dandy aftershave.

Pomade
She uses a thick, waxy goop to style her hair. You can use a thin film to buff your shoes. Really.

Eyebrow Pencil
Clean up a croaked goatee or fix shoe scuffs.

Mascara
It can darken gray mustache or eyebrow hairs.

Nail-polish Remover
Some brands contain acetone, a solvent that will remove some types of ink stains from clothing. Be careful; it can also removes some dyes and put holes in delicate fabrics, such as rayon and satin.

Petroleum Jelly
A dab makes an emergency hair gel. Rub a small amount between your hands to liquify it before putting it on your head.

So, now that you know that some of her stuff are useful too for you, I guess you will now willing to go with her on beauty products' shopping. But just make sure you won't take all her stuff because I am sure this is something a woman don't want to happen.

Alphamale Topic to Live Longer

Men's Health US "Head Check" Clumnist Daniel Amen, MD: "Stress kills brain cells responsible for learning and memory, wrecks the immune system, causes weight gain, elevates blood pressure, and can ruin sleep and s3x." And there's more: A recent Swedish stude found that chronic stress increases a man's risk of developing cardiovascular disease and having a fatal stroke. Stop there classic male stressors.

Work
An Australian study found that men who had stressful jobs were more likely than others to suffer from anxiety and poor health.
The antidote: A goodbye hug. Research shows that 10 minutes of hand-holding and 20-second hug from your spouse can lessen the damaging effects of stress.

Relationships
A weak marriage can harm your heart and increase your blood pressure.
The antidote: Take a walk with your partner. Twenty minutes of exxercise increases serotonin levels and the odds you'll make peace.

Children
Coming home stressed from work makes you more likely to blow up at your kids.
The antidote: Decompress on the ride home, or let your kids know what your first 15 minutes at home is.

Cebu priest Msgr. Achilles Dakay says 'surgery sc@ndal' man should also be blamed

MANILA, Philippines - A Catholic priest on Wednesday said that the 39-year old man who underwent rectal surgery in Cebu should also accept part of the blame.

According to the priest who is based in Cebu, the patient's trouble started when he contacted an alleged call boy who then stuck a body spray canister up the man's rectum at the height of their sexual act.

“They seem to forget the whole thing. They are blaming the doctors for what they (did) but I think they should blame the guy for what they did," Monsignor Achilles Dakay, spokesman for Cebu Archbishop Ricardo Cardinal Vidal, said.

Dakay's comment was aired over church-run Radio Veritas.

The patient had admitted in previous media interviews that he picked up a male prostitute. He said he was drunk when the incident happened in January.

He had an operation at the Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center (VSMMC) to have the canister removed. However, doctors recorded the surgery and had fun doing it.

The video has been posted on YouTube.

Dakay said that while the church is not condemning homosexuals, it will not tolerate homosexual acts.

“They are made that way but if they did what is prohibited, that’s another thing," he added.

In the same interview, Dakay said that homosexuality is “prevalent" in Cebu, the province where the Portuguese explorer Ferdinand Magellan erected the country’s first Cross.

“We should be ashamed. It’s not just scandalous, (it’s) very shameful," he said, referring to the spread of the surgery video on the Internet.

Danton Remoto, co-founder of the gay group Ang Ladlad, earlier commented that the patient was victimized twice: first when the male prostitute inserted the canister inside his rectum, and second, when the video of the operation spread via YouTube.

Ang Ladlad, composed of gays, lesbians, bisexuals, and transgender, sent a psychologist to Cebu to counsel the patient who is filing charges against the hospital’s medical team and were seen misbehaving during the procedure.

Remoto said Dakay comment towards the incident is "expected" because this is the Catholic Church's stand towards homosexuality.

"Msgr. Achilles was just reiterating the church's stand," he said.

Remoto reiterated his call to gay individuals to "be careful" when engaging in solicited sex.

"In the end, we are one with the Catholic Church," he said. - GMANews.TV

The issue here is not Danilo's act of having sexual intercourse with the callboy, the issue is the medical malpractice that the Hospital doctors and nurses did during operation. In the US, medical malpractice is a serious issue and I don't think because we are in the Philippines, we shouldn't take it a seriously, because health matters to us all and in the medical operation the life of the patient is at stake and it is not a laughing matters.

I wonder if the doctors and nurses on the video are coming from "some med schools in the Philippines."

I also want to say this, what if Msgr. Dakay, fell down the stairs because he was so careless and broke his arm, should we blame him for what happened? Just like Danilo's careless act of having sex with some callboy. Anyway, I don't want to call this an issue but Dakay's point of blaming the victim is pointless for me because it is out of the real issue and it's the Medical Malpractice.

Medical Alert!!! New Virus

The Center for Disease Control has issued a medical alert about a highly contagious, potentially dangerous virus that is transmitted orally, by hand, and even electronically. This virus is called Weary Overload Recreational Killer (WORK). If you receive WORK from your boss, any of your colleagues, or anyone else via any means whatsoever - DO NOT TOUCH IT. This virus will wipe out your private life completely. If you should come into contact with WORK you should immediately leave the premises. Take two good friends to the nearest grocery store and purchase one or both of the antidotes - Work Isolating Neutralizer Extract (WINE) and Bothersome Employer Elimination Rebooter (BEER). Take the antidote repeatedly until WORK has been completely eliminated from your system.
