Two Filipinos on 13th Season Survivor Cook Island

Season 13th of Survivor (Cook Island) will cook two Filipino-American hunk and babe, Brad and Jenny. This is the first time from the previous seasons of Survivor that the show has been joined up with a Filipino blood, not only one but two hot Filipino-American and the Filipino community are proud to have them on the show.

Brad Virata - Was raised in the small town of Oak Harbor, Washington, just outside of Seattle. The youngest of five children, he excelled at track, football and volleyball during his teenage years.

Virata received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in international communications from the University of Washington and was an active member of the Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity. Shortly after graduation, Virata traveled throughout Europe and Asia working as a model. He then moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in fashion and attended the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. He began working in couture clothing sales and clothing design merchandising for Guess? Men's Division. He spent five years with the company and helped launch the clothing line "Los Angeles Denim Atelier." He currently works as the Director of Men's Merchandising for Lucky Brand Jeans.

Virata is an avid beach volleyball player and surfer. His hobbies include weight training, running, rollerblading, power yoga, beach volleyball and international travel. Virata is single and currently resides in Santa Monica, California, with his Boston terrier named Maxx. His birth date is November 23, 1976.

Jenny Guzon-Bae - Born in Chicago, Jenny Guzon-Bae was raised in the western suburb of Melrose Park, Illinois. A natural tomboy, Guzon-Bae was often found playing football, softball, basketball, climbing trees or racing bikes with the boys in her neighborhood. Despite her parents' efforts to make her more lady-like by enrolling her in ballet and gymnastics (13 years of training), Jenny preferred beating out the boys. It wasn't until high school that Jenny finally embraced her feminine side, but she was still the fierce competitor on the inside.

A skilled writer, Guzon-Bae began honing her skills at age 15 when she was hired as a columnist for VIA Times, the largest minority newspaper in the Chicago area. She eventually graduated college with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in journalism from Columbia College in Chicago. She parlayed her writing skills into the spoken word when she became a television reporter for Chicago's only Filipino-American news program, "Philippine News Reports." Having retired from reporting a few years ago, Guzon-Bae continues to serve her community by emceeing various social events. She is currently a real estate agent.

Guzon-Bae heads up a volleyball league in her spare time. She also enjoys shopping, yoga, pilates, traveling and playing the board game Scrabble. She recently took up fencing, tennis and belly dancing. She enjoys watching boxing, basketball and football.

Guzon-Bae is a member of the North Shore Barrington Association of Realtors.

The Camiguin Island

I went to Camiguin Island last weekend and its been two years since my last visit of the island but the island is still considered a paradise because of its wondrous panoramic view. I don’t have more to say about my visit because it is a sad story. I visited there not for a vacation or tour but to attend the burial of my uncle who died of lever cancer.

Anyway, I took some pictures of my travel and here's for you to take a look at it. I didn't take a lot of pictures because it is just a rush travel and need to be back monday morning to catch-up for my work.

Torn Between Two Lovers

Michelle or Chelle is a type of person who loves conversation, but sometimes she hates arguments as much as possible she avoided them, because on her opinion, arguments most of the time creates conflicts. She is typically a simple girl with big dreams and love to explore on things which attracts her attention... She also loves meeting friends... according to her, new friends are very much welcome. And she loves adventures and travels...

Those are the things you can read on Michelle’s blog profile, but what are these paparazzi pictures I got? She must torn between two lovers and you can see at the pictures that she wasn’t very happy being with any of her two lovers. What else she can ask for, the first man is a multi-millionaire and owner of International Airline Company, The Lhawzer Airlines. The second is also a multi-billionaire who owns the famous Onin 5 star hotels around the world.

It only shows that money can’t buy happiness and love for Michelle.

Fire, that burned almost a hundred homes in Brgy 15 of Cagayan de Oro City

Blackout! That’s what happened yesterday September 7, 2006, while working around 11 AM. Our work was affected and I go out to have a break. Fire track whistle its siren as it passed by along the highway, there must be a fire incident happening at that moment and that’s why the electricity was being cut off. I look up in the sky to look for a smoke and walla!!! East part of the sky was full of black smoke just like a nuclear explosion’s smoke.

Instead of taking a break, I ride a jeepney and headed towards the fire’s destination. When I arrived at the location, there are so many people watching the fire burning the properties of some of the residence in the area. People are just like me; they were there just to watch and not even help. Anyway, there’s nothing I can do to help stop the fire, but just let the fire fighters do their job. I can see some of those fire victims’ eyes the worry, fear, dismay and sadness of what happened to their homes. All I can do is watch them and console them in just the way I looked at them and I just can’t help myself but to take pictures of the incident.

Working for New Project

New Project, new task and new client, Wooo… this is going to be tough, I hope not. It’s my first day to be assigned to this new project and I cross my fingers to this for good luck, for a smooth job, and for good interactions and communications with the client. Link my way to success with the help of God and constant prayer for guidance.

I can’t wait to start this project, but in the meantime, I have to relax and write this blog… wish me luck then.
